The first log wall is laid directly to the sub-floor with an overhang of 1 ½” to allow for the skirt board. |

Logs from side elevation are inserted into logs of the rear elevation to form corner. It is not a butt-and-pass system. |

Lag screws attach log to floor system and subsequent logs to logs forming the wall. |

A one inch round piece of foam backer rod is placed between each log to form an air tight seal. |
