We at Lincoln Logs International are looking
to bring more of our log homes into the ever expanding
housing market. There is nothing like a Lincoln Log Home.
This move can be a great
benefit to you. We believe that, with the advantages
and benefits our company provides you as a dealer, you could generate a potential sales income of $40,000 to $80,000
annually, on a part-time basis.
Here is an example of what we believe a potential log home dealer can make working 16-20 hours per month:
Sixteen to twenty hours spent generating and following up leads should allow you to present the benefits and advantages of our log homes to 4-6 prospects per month. This should provide you with an average 60 prospects per year. If only 10% of those prospects become sales you
would have 6 sales per year, with the average sale generating
substantial profits for you. This translates into a significant
income working only part-time. You obviously can make much more by becoming involved in the actual log wall erection or "turn key" log home construction.
Tips For Sales
We recently talked with one of our dealers who has ordered 6 homes in 3 months. We asked him a few questions and will share his responses with you.
He works an average of 5 to 10 hours a week selling Lincoln Log Homes.
He advertises in weekly shopper guide using a 4" x 2" ad initially; a smaller ad after the first few issues. He also advertises in real estate magazines.
But here is something unique. This dealer never sends our log home brochures to prospects. When they call in response to his ad, he meets with them personally at a job site or restaurant. This gives him a chance to present our brochure personally and better determine the degree of interest the prospect has, plus the time frame being considered for the actual purchase.
